Criminal damage in Willaston

Police are hunting vandals who slashed tyres in Willaston at the weekend.

Two cars were damaged between 5pm on Friday and 10am the following morning.

A red Ford Escort parked in Willaston Crescent and a silver Suzuki Ignis parked in Barrule Road were attacked and left undriveable.

Police say a sharp instrument was used to cause the damage.

Anybody with information which might help the investigation is asked to ring the police station in Willaston on 674744 or Police Headquarters on 631212.
