Viscount Linley to be Hospice guest

by isleofman.com 20th February 2010

Viscount Linley is to be the guest speaker at a black tie dinner in aid of Rebecca House in May.

It's to mark International Nurses Day and will be hosted at Billown Manor in Malew on May 12.

The event also includes a golf day at Castletown Golf Links.

It's being sponsored by ICM Group, which has nominated the children's unit of Hospice Isle of Man as its local charity to support.

The son of the late Princess Margaret will speak about his career as a furniture maker and his passion for British design and craftsmanship.

Marketing manager for Hospice, Mary Doyle, says they hope to raise the profile of palliative care nursing.
