New record time for Taggart at Glen Mona

Lloyd Taggart blitzed the course record with an excellent win in the Glen Mona Fell Race on Saturday.

He triumphed over the seven mile course in a time of 57 minutes, 36 seconds.

Runner-up Tom Cringle also produced a fine showing , finishing in one hour nine seconds, again inside the old course record, while Simon Skillicorn was third.

Jackie Lee completed a memorable day of her own by winning the women’s title in a new record time of one hour 11 minutes 45 seconds.
