Island war veterans have joined forces - calling on the UK government to reconsider the ending of the reciprocal health agreement.
Members of all the service associations made a plea at the Manx Legion Club last night (Thursday) to try and ease anxiety amongst ex-services personnel.
From April, Manx residents will have to pay for medical treatment in the UK, apart from accident and emergency care and scheduled referrals for specialist treatment.
Around 70 war veterans expressed their feelings at the rally.
They’re angry some ex-servicemen won't be able to get any health cover to visit the country they risked their lives to defend.
They're sending a letter to Gordon Brown to ask him to re-start negotiations with the Manx government.
