Rushen MHK Juan Watterson has been reflecting on the failed attempt by the so called 'Secret Six' group of politicians to delay the decision on the restructuring of the Manx government.
Late on Wednesday night, Tynwald rejected the group's alternative set of proposals, and overwhelmingly supported the package put forward by Chief Minister Tony Brown.
Mr Watterson says he backs things going forward, but is stressing the size of the government must also be tackled:
