Celtic League accuses police

by isleofman.com 18th February 2010

The Celtic League is accusing the Isle of Man Constabulary of being part of a crack down on nationalist discontent.

The police are currently investigating over 20 instances of Manx nationalist graffiti being daubed on walls and buildings around the Island.

Celtic League Director of Information Bernard Moffatt says the enquiry seems to be wider ranging rather than just finding those responsible.

He says some of the incidents he's heard about are disturbing.
