Chief minister questioned on leadership

Chief minister Tony Brown will raise concerns over the ending of the Reciprocal Health Agreement and the VAT bombshell with members of the House of Commons Justice Committee.

They are due to visit the Island shortly as part of their examination into the relationship between the UK and the Crown Dependencies - including the Isle of Man.

Mr Brown said he would raise the subjects unofficially, but Michael MHK David Cannan felt that wasn't thumping the table hard enough on behalf of the people he represents.

The chief minister then accused Mr Cannan of grandstanding:-
