The Chairman of the Manx Electricity Authority says the most vulnerable will be protected from a seven per cent rise in their bills following yesterday’s budget.
Quintin Gill MHK says those most in need won’t have to pay as cash is ring-fenced to help them.
The increase will be introduced in April and comes just months after prices went up late last year.
