Mountain Road open again after poor weather

by isleofman.com 16th February 2010

The Mountain Road, the Tholt-y-Will Road and the Beinn-y-Phott Road were closed for a couple of hours this afternoon because of the bad weather.

Meanwhile, Manx Radio had unconfirmed reports from members of the public of problems on the roads in the north-east of the Island.

Apparently they're very slippery and one text into our studio said emergency services were dealing with a car which had flipped on its roof at Corrany Hill.

Snow had been falling in the area.
