Death no longer being seen as suspicious

by isleofman.com 12th February 2010

Police say they're no longer treating the death of a 78-year-old-woman as suspicious.

Officers have been investigating since she was found outside her home in the Port E Chee area of Douglas yesterday.

Initial inquiries involved the criminal investigation department, scenes of crime officers and uniformed police.

It's now claimed whilst the circumstances of her death are tragic, they are no longer being seen as suspicious and there is no cause for alarm.

The incident will still be investigated by the coroner.
