Jailed Isle of Man tycoon Trevor Baines has been charged with 23 counts of theft, deception and firearm offences.
The 70 year-old has appeared in court via a live link from the Island’s prison in Jurby where he is serving a six year term after being convicted last autumn of money laundering and false accounting.
His wife, 51 year-old Wendy Baines of Woodbourne Road in Douglas, has also appeared before the Deputy High Bailiff charged with nine offences of theft.
They will appear in court again on March 9, as will 29 year-old Manx advocate Jenny Holt, of the Switchback Road in German, who is charged with entering into an agreement and fabricating or concealing documents.
