Bowl deadlock could continue

The divide between government and Douglas Corporation over The Bowl looks set to continue.

Ahead of a meeting tomorrow in which a compromise deal for the proposed ?3.5 million stadium redevelopment is being put on the table, the chief minister has made it clear there’ll be no deal unless the car park is part of the plan.

The corporation's offered to sell the facility to the Department of Tourism and Leisure for one pound - but has so far refused to let go of the car park.

However, Tony Brown says that’s unacceptable:
