Four year old girl 'stable' after Peel accident

A four year old girl from Douglas remains in a stable condition in Noble’s Hospital today (Monday) after being struck by a car on Peel promenade on Saturday afternoon.

She was hit opposite the skate park on Marine Parade just after 2pm.

Police say the car, a blue Citroen Xsara, was being driven slowly by a 33 year-old man from Douglas.

They’d like to speak to anyone who saw the car, saw what happened or was in the area of Marine Parade between 1.30pm and 2.20pm.
