D&D damage Marown's promotion bid

by isleofman.com 6th February 2010

Douglas and District produced the result of the day to cause a potentially major blow to Marown’s promotion hopes.

The CFS Division Two leaders were held to a 2-2 draw at home, despite leading 2-0 at the break.

A first half double from Cliffy Lewin looked to have set them on their way but a second half comeback, secured by goals from David McDaid and Stephen Wilson, sealed a shock point for D&D.

The other match also ended all square with Ramsey Youth Centre and Ronaldsway sharing four goals.

Aiden Cummins and John Shields were on target for Youth Centre with Peter O’Brien and John O’Brien finding the net for the Rockets.
