A Douglas MHK is hoping to clampdown on those who use mobile phones whilst driving.
Bill Henderson will be raising the matter in the House of Keys next week when he will ask the Home Affairs Minister how he proposes to tackle what he calls 'an upsurge in such illegal use of mobile phones'.
He says it's a matter which he has been campaigning on for a number of years and he regularly gets calls from his constituents reporting such behaviour.
Mr Henderson wants the authorities to clampdown on what is clearly dangerous behaviour.
