Drugs accused remanded in custody

Two men facing drugs charges have been remanded in custody after appearing before the Deputy High Bailiff.

Thirty-five-year-old Mark Nelson, of Empire Drive in Douglas, is charged with possessing drugs with intent to supply and being concerned in their production.

Twenty-eight-year-old Alexander Charles Messenger, of no fixed abode, is charged with the production of drugs and the supply of drugs to another.

Mr Nelson has been remanded in custody until next week, when his advocate will make a bail application, while Mr Messenger has been remanded in custody until his next appearance on March second.
