Help for Hyperbaric Chamber?

by isleofman.com 4th February 2010

The Hyperbaric Chamber looks to have a more stable future after funding for the facility reached crisis point last year.

The Friends of the Hyperbaric Chamber was set up at the end of last year to try and provide a more steady stream of money.

Although usually thought of as a unit where divers are treated, chairman of the charity Michelle Haywood says that only accounts for about two per cent of its annual use, adding it's a vital facility for many other medical treatments.

Michelle hopes the interest and support shown on Facebook so far can now be transformed into cash.
