Farming importance unquestioned

The Agriculture Minister says he shares farmers' concerns about the proposed new structure of the Manx government.

Representatives of the Manx National Farmers' Union earlier this week expressed their anger on Manx Radio that agriculture was going to incorporated with services such as the buses and the Villa Marina in a Department of Community, Culture and Leisure.

Phil Gawne feels it should probably have greater prominence, given farming's importance to the Island's community.
