Check your headlights

by isleofman.com 3rd February 2010

Motorists in the Island are being urged to check their headlights are in good working order.

The Department of Transport will be conducting roadside checks over the next few weeks, stopping drivers who aren't using lights in dark or gloomy conditions, or whose lights are faulty.

Anyone pulled-over for having faulty lights will be sent to the Vehicle Test Centre to get them repaired.

The DoT says at this time of year, drivers should ensure their car headlights are fully working and washer bottles topped up.
