An event held to raise money for Oxfam's relief work after the devastating earthquake in Haiti has raised more than ?800.
'Love and All that Jazz' was organised by Linda Mann and featured a new performance group called 'Voices' along with the Jim Caine Quartet.
There were readings of prose and poetry from an eclectic mix of writers, including PG Woodhouse, Oscar Wilde and Shakespeare, mixed in with the light swing and Latin music of the quartet.
Oxfam Isle of Man manager Sue Burnham says the event was organised in just a few days, with the help of the Empress Hotel, Balloons in Strand Street and Manx Radio.
She says Oxfam's Haiti appeal will be running for some time and donations are still being received, every penny of which goes towards providing essentials such as clean water, sanitation and shelter equipment.
