Inquest on road accident victim

An inquest is opening today into the death of a Kirk Michael man who was killed in a road accident last month.

Seventy-four-year-old pedestrian George Mills died in hospital, shortly after being hit by a car in the village, twelve days ago.

Coroner Alastair Montgomerie will open and adjourn the hearing at Douglas courthouse.

Start time: 9.45am.
