New plans for Port Erin site

Could the old Port Erin Marine Laboratory be used as a centre of marine conservation in the Irish Sea?

That's the hope of David Kelly of Manx Marine Life who has made a presentation to government to outline his proposals for the site.

He says it would be ideal for the purpose and believes such a facility would help protect sealife around the Island for future generations:
