A memorial service this evening will remember the life and work of former Bishop of the Isle of Man, Noel Jones.
Fittingly, it will be held at St German's Cathedral in Peel, where he was Dean.
Noel Jones was Bishop of Sodor and Man from 1989 to 2003, after serving for 22 years as a chaplain in the Royal Navy.
He passed away at a hospice in Scarborough last August, at the age of 76.
The preacher this evening will be retired Archdeacon, the Venerable Brian Partington and among those attending will be the former Bishop's widow, Joyce Jones.
The service starts at 7.30pm.
