Keys get down to business

by isleofman.com 2nd February 2010

It’s back to business this morning (Tuesday) in the House of Keys and Legislative Council.

The Reciprocal Health Agreement and potential cuts in government spending feature prominently in the Keys with an attempt by Liberal Vannin Party leader Peter Karran to bring in a scheme for health insurance to replace the doomed agreement.

There are 17 questions for oral answer and a further six for written answer – covering topics as diverse as wildlife, the TT organising group, and ‘spatial distribution’ in the government’s Strategic Plan.

You can follow questions in the House of Keys live on Manx Radio on AM1368 from 10 o'clock this (Tuesday) morning.

In the Legislative Council, the Harbours Bill is down for its second reading with third readings scheduled for the Endangered Species and Incorporated Cell Companies Bills.
