Lack of consultation - Mandate at One interview

There's been an angry response from trade unions to the way the Manx government announced it 'big idea' on restructuring.

Staff were told about the shake-up when they arrived for work today (Monday).

Unions say there's been no consultation with them on the changes, despite the formation of a new forum aimed at ensuring government and unions work together to implement major change in the Island's public sector.

On Mandate at One today, President of the Isle of Man Trades Council Angela Moffatt said members were very concerned about where their jobs fitted into the new departmental structure:
