Manxmen tackle Tough Guy Challenge

by isleofman.com 30th January 2010

Thousands of people are taking part in a punishing endurance event in the Staffordshire countryside on Sunday and there'll be Manxmen amongst them.

The annual 'Tough Guy Challenge' sees thousands of competitors run an eight mile cross-country course which involves 21 obstacles.

These include electric shocks, freezing water and underground mazes - St John's ambulance are on hand to deal with broken bones and hypothermia.

One of the Isle of Man residents taking part is Matt Knowles who says it is a chance to test himself.
