A memorial will be laid in Ramsey today (Saturday) for the baby who died in the Ellan Vannin tragedy, whose name only came to light 100 years later.
The ten month old girl was the youngest victim of the tragedy, but she was named in records as simply 'infant Crix'.
A century later, after a memorial on the Mersey last December, descendants of the Crix family provided the clues to the child's real identity.
A birth certificate traced in Liverpol revealed she was Mary Jane Crix.
Harry Edmondson from Waterloo in Merseyside, carried out the painstaking research.
This afternoon he'll lay a wreath bearing Mary Jane's name at the Ellan Vannin memorial on Ramsey quayside at 3pm.
Harry says her name belongs alongside the tragedy's victims.
