RNLI SOS Day

by isleofman.com 29th January 2010

Today is RNLI SOS day - the lifeboat institution's biggest fundraising event and the Isle of Man is playing it's part.

Events are being planned across Britain and Ireland and range from the tiny to the huge and Manx people are really throwing themselves into it.

The various Lifeboat stations around the Island will be playing host to events whilst schools, businesses and organisations are arranging their own fundraising schemes.

Area fundraising manager Adele Fuller says the funds raised help keep the huge operation afloat.
