The Department of Transport is asking local residents to keep reporting damage they see to the Island’s roads.
Extra resources have been mobilised to help repair potholes, caused by the recent cold weather, and additional teams have been working late into the evening and over the weekend to ensure areas are repaired as soon as possible.
Reports of damage are being prioritised with high speed main and country roads top of the list for repair, followed by busy town roads, then low speed roads and estates.
Over the weekend the department was able to complete all 35 'priority one' jobs and eleven in the 'priority two' category.
The DoT says good progress was also made on the Creg-ny-Baa back road over the weekend, with more work due to be carried out so it can be reopened as soon as possible.
The department appreciates the support given by members of the public in reporting damage, and is assuring them all reported damage will be addressed.
Anybody who wants to report any road damage can call the department on 686665 during office hours.
