Volunteers needed for hospital forums

by isleofman.com 25th January 2010

Island residents keen to play a part in developing services at Noble's are being invited to consider signing up for a number of hospital forums.

The advisory bodies will champion the views of patients and regularly put forward ideas to improve the way things are done.

Equal numbers of staff and the public sit on the forums, which cover areas such as patient safety, nutrition and hygiene.

There are now vacancies for volunteers keen to have a say in how Noble's Hospital develops in the future.

Senior nurse for patient safety and governance Jayne Kerruish says public input is vital (play audio file):

For further information, Jayne Kerruish can be contacted at Noble's Hospital, on 650763.
