Murder wiith Manx connection - enquiries continue

by isleofman.com 20th January 2010

A 54-year-old from the Isle of Man has been re-bailed by police in Essex as part of a murder inquiry.

It's been confirmed the man has been released on bail on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and perverting the course of justice.

It follows the disappearance of 41-year-old Derbyshire businessman Paul Duckenfield in Essex 14 months ago.

A 47-year-old north Essex man was arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of Mr Duckenfield's murder and also remains on police bail.

The inquiry is linked to Mr Duckenfield's involvement in the supply of anabolic steroids used by athletes and body builders.

Anyone with information which might help the inquiry is asked contact the investigation team on 01279 641188, or call Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
