As the Isle of Man's response to the earthquake in Haiti continues to gain momentum, a local primary school is taking up an ambitious challenge.
Scoill Vallajeelt's staff and pupils are hoping to raise ?1,000 in a week.
The money will be used to buy 'shelterboxes', which contain supplies to house and feed a family of ten for several months.
They will prove vital for the hundreds of thousands of Haitians made homeless by the disaster.
