by isleofman.com 18th January 2010

Six new Justices of the Peace will be sworn in by His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor on Friday 22nd January.

The Swearing-in ceremony, which takes place at Government House, will be performed for Mr Malcolm Clague, Mrs Linda Donald, Mrs Ulla Hietala-Beavers, Mr David Nash, Mrs Belinda Pilling and Mrs Gillian Quirk.

Their selection as new magistrates is the culmination of a publicly advertised recruitment process which commenced in February 2009.

All new justices will undergo a period of initial training before fully taking up their duties on the Bench in mid-2010.
