A step forward's been taken in providing a pre-school place for every child in the Isle of Man.
At present, there's a shortfall of around 240 places each year.
That's because some schools, mainly the larger ones, have their own pre-school units.
Other mainly small schools, don't.
It's a situation described by the Mothers Union as a 'postcode lottery'.
The Department of Education's launched a consultation, asking the public how it can provide more places for three to five year olds.
Mothers Union president in the Island Helen Parry has welcomed the move.
She says although funding's tight, the current system is unjust.
