Langness report delayed

by isleofman.com 15th January 2010

There's been a delay in the delivery of the Langness footpath inquiry report to the Department of Transport.

Transport Minister David Anderson says because the inspector who headed up the inquiry, Roy Hickey, has had to deal with "some unexpected family matters", which have taken priority over his production of the report.

Mr Andreson says they'd been expecting to get it before the Christmas break.

But it's now thought it'll be delivered by the end of the month, with Mr Anderson making a statement about its findings at the February Tynwald sitting.
