A 38 year-old man charged with murder will appear in court this morning (Friday).

Simon Paul Leece of Fairfield Terrace in Douglas denies the murder of Terence Losh last March.

He also denies committing arson with intent to endanger life on the same date by destroying a house in Demesne Road.

Six other offences of arson with intent to endanger life or being reckless as to whether life would be endangered are also denied by the defendant.

It’s expected a trial date will be fixed today (Friday).
