The changing face of Manx witchcraft will be explored at the Manx Museum this evening (Friday).
Internationally renowned historian Professor Ronald Hutton will be hoping to keep an audience spellbound in the latest of the Manx National Heritage winter lectures.
It will take in the origins of witchcraft in the Isle of Man, the burning of witches here in the seventeenth century and the Island's role as a hotbed of pagan revival in the last century.
Doors open at seven o’clock and admission is free.
