The Isle of Man Symphony Orchestra is inviting people to waltz along to a night of beautiful music and dance at the Villa Marina.
A sumptuous 'Gold and Silver Ball' is set to take place on Saturday 23rd January in the Villa Marina's Royal Hall, featuring music from Strauss and other Viennese composers.
Exhibition dancers will recreate the romance of 19th Century Vienna - and there will even be an opportunity for members of the audience to grace the dancefloor!
The event is being compered by broadcaster and writer Charles Guard; staged in association with the Academy of Dance and the Madigan School of Dance; and sponsored by Island Aquatics and the Sefton Hotel.
A limited number of Gold Tickets (priced ?25) are available and include a pre-concert cocktail reception in the Sefton Hotel's Atrium, with canapes and live music from members of the orchestra.
Silver tickets (?12.50) are available for the concert only. These tickets are for unreserved seating, and anyone who chooses to sit downstairs will have a chance to take to the floor.
Concessionary tickets, priced ?10, are also available and, at the time of going to press, parties of 10 who purchase Gold Tickets can still secure a table on the dancefloor.
Sue Green, Chairman of the Isle of Man Symphony Orchestra, says, "We hope that you will be able to join us at what promises to be a truly memorable event."
