Health agreement - don't give up hope, vows MP

by isleofman.com 12th January 2010

Andrew MacKinlay, the Labour member for Thurrock, has been fighting to have the agreement reinstated following the British government’s decision to scrap it.

He believes although the UK has said it’s unlikely to change its mind despite a meeting with Manx politicians, the agreement can be saved.

And he says UK Health Secretary Andy Burnham may be more sympathetic to the Isle of Man than we think.
