Strong winds and further snowfall have caused large snow drifts on the closed mountain road.
Department of Transport inspectors on a routine patrol have reported banks of snow up to five feet high.
From the Creg ny Baa side, the road is no longer passable beyond the Bein-y-Phott road - even in rugged off-road vehicles.
With much of the snow and ice now melted on lower ground, the department says any perception that things have improved on the mountain is very wide of the mark.
And they're stressing members of the public must not attempt to use the road.
