The Island is set to receive some high profile TV coverage this evening (Sunday).
BBC One’s Countryfile team filmed at a number of Manx locations a month ago.
The programme will include a look back at that visit, which included trips to the Calf of Man and Cregneash, the TT Course, Close Sartfield Nature Reserve and George Steriopulos’s Loaghtan lamb farm in the south.
Arranged with the Department of Tourism and Manx National Heritage, footage from the Island will also be compiled on a special Countryfile DVD to be released later this year.
Tourism Minister Martyn Quayle presented the BBC team with a commemorative ‘Visions of Mann’ book featuring beautiful scenes of the Island during their visit.
