Bin collections are continuing in Douglas today (Saturday), as Borough Council staff work to clear the backlog caused by the weather.
With collections not possible on Tuesday and severely limited on Wednesday, due to the snow, unusual hours are being worked.
Until scheduled collections restart, ratepayers can take any extra waste to the civic amenity site.
