Elderly people who rely on the Meals on Wheels service have been enjoying hot lunches delivered to their homes.
The service was cancelled yesterday, with Age Concern's vans unable to reach most of their clients.
But emergency service teams offered to help transport the meals to elderly people whose homes are on untreated roads today.
So although Age Concern's day centres have been closed for a second day, the meals service is back on the road.
