Motorists are being advised to drive with great care this evening (Monday).
Gritters are out around the Island clearing the main bus routes, but conditions are said to be trecherous in some places, particularly on minor roads.
The Mountain Road is open at present (January 4, 7.30pm), but the B10 Brandywell Road, the C37 Druidale Road, the B22 Injebreck Road and the B22 West Baldwin Road remain closed and will be reviewed again tomorrow afternoon.
