Charity thanks public for generosity

by isleofman.com 4th January 2010

The 2009 Mistletoe Collection for Hospice has exceeded all expectations.

The annual fund raiser involves members of the public making donations of their choice in return for sprigs of fresh mistletoe.

The sum collected in 2008 was £2,253 and in the current climate it was hoped to match that figure at best.

However, the collection actually raised £2,500.

Organisers are thanking the public for their generosity in such challenging economic times.
