Last chance to visit Festival of Trees

by isleofman.com 2nd January 2010

The Festival of Trees has become a firm fixture at Ronaldsway Airport every Christmas and has proved a crucial fund-raiser for the Island branch of Save the Children.

Now the charity's urging anyone who still hasn't viewed the spectacle and voted for their favourite exhibit, to do just that.

Trees are decorated in ever-more original ways each year, to reflect a wide range of Island businesses and community groups.

For a small donation, visitors can vote for their favourite tree.

Save the Children's area representative Rosemary Walters says it's a really worthwhile event.

The trees will be dismantled from Sunday afternoon and will all have gone by twelfth night.
