Rushen back for title push

by isleofman.com 2nd January 2010

Manx football has a full set of league fixtures this afternoon (Saturday).

After the disappointment of losing 2-0 to Peel in Boxing Day's Railway Cup final, Sure Mobile Premier League leaders Rushen entertain Old Boys at Croit Lowey.

Rushen are four points clear of their western rivals at the top of the table but their opponents do have a game in hand.

After claiming the first major piece of silverware of the season at The Bowl, Peel return to Douglas to play Gymns, while third placed Laxey entertain Corinthians.

Division Two top dogs Ayre are away to Douglas and District while nearerst rivals Marown host bottom side Police.
