Extra bus services for partygoers

by isleofman.com 31st December 2009

New Year revellers are being reminded of extra buses, as the Island prepares to see in 2010.

Three additional services will leave Loch Promenade, Douglas at 1.15am on January 1.

They will head south to Castletown, Port Erin and Port St Mary; to Ramsey via Onchan; and to Peel via Derby Road, Woodbourne Road, Willaston (by request), Strang, Crosby and St John’s.

Services into Douglas will leave Port St Mary and Ramsey at 12.20am and 12.25am respectively.

The extra buses are to enable partygoers to celebrate and to prevent drink driving.

Special constables will be on each bus.
