Burglars targetted premises in the south of the Island for some unusual contraband over Christmas.

They broke into Malew men's club in Ballasalla between 3.30pm on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day afternoon.

Their haul included old-style 150 watt light bulbs which are no longer available.

The property was also damaged.

Anyone who is offered this type of lightbulb, or who has any information on the burglary, is asked to contact Castletown police on 822222.
