A perennial post-Christmas problem has been solved by the Wildlife Park.
It says it will welcome any unwanted Christmas trees, which it will shred and turn into bark chips for pathways.
It will also use the material to improve the living areas of some of the animals.
Starting in the New Year, a drop-off point will be set up in the car park, where people can leave their trees for the staff to collect.
